I knew I wanted to maximise solar to get as close to off grid without actually being off grid in Mt Eden. After 20 years of it not stacking up Pedro knew what I wanted. Parts of the project were difficult and we worked together but by the end it surpassed my expectations. It’s simple with full control to manipulate energy storage to the next level or leave it on auto that’s what really counts. Fantastic communication each day with the team and nothing was a problem! In a nutshell: Promises kept to the letter.
We live in a rural area and wanted a back-up for grid power in a power outage. The installation itself is a work of art with panels installed to be not easily visible on approach and the system wiring carefully installed to be rectilinear. The 5Kw Victron system and 20Kw storage batteries take up surprisingly little room. We have tried it out with a simulated power failure with only slightly conservative appliance and fresh/waste water pump use on a slightly cloudy day with zero net storage drain over 4-5 hours. WOW! There were no add-on costs and the quote was honoured. This highly professional boutique provider comes with our highest recommendation.

Epic. Start to finish was fantastic. I called heaps of companies but within a few min I knew this company was the one. Pedro, Gus, Hayden and Marc will take care of you and go over everything in detail. With every step they wanted my input and made me feel super comfortable with the whole process, they even came back early from their holiday to set up my system quicker. The prices are crazy cheap too almost Half of other companies but the service and quality is not compromised at all. 5/5 and i'll be getting more work done with them soon.

Great job done from Pedro's team (Gus and Hayden). They installed the unit as shown in the photo, so tidy and organize. Both guys were so amazing, they supported us in panel installation, wiring, etc. as we did it on our own. Easy to contact them in times we need help. Big fan to recommend Total Solar to others. The team at Total Solar are fantastic, finished and fixed a previous install and had the whole thing up and running within a day, after I had been waiting 5 months. Prompt to contact, they turned up on time, worked quickly and did a great job tidying up after themselves, explained everything easily and came back later in the day to double check everything was ok. Honestly, you can't go wrong with these folks, I just wish I had chosen them 6 months earlier. Do it, you won't regret it.
